What this course covers

A RevPlay turns a GTM motion into something the system can run: who is eligible, what happens on which day, what each step produces, and how success is measured. This course builds one end to end and activates it against a real segment. The worked example running through every lesson is a post-pilot re-engagement play for mid-market accounts, chosen because the first lesson rejects two more obvious candidates, and the reasoning for that is most of the skill.

You will build your own alongside it. You will need permission to author plays, and an account segment you are willing to enrol. Everything else is covered as you go.

By the end

What you will be able to do

  • Decide whether a motion belongs in a play at all — and say why the obvious candidates usually do not.
  • Fill in all four builder steps knowing which choices are cheap to revise and which are expensive.
  • Write execution instructions an agent can prepare against and a person can act on without opening another tab.
  • Set autonomy action by action, so review lands where the risk is rather than everywhere.
  • Predict how many decisions a play will put in one person's queue each day, before you activate it.
  • Read enrolment, completions and Actions Pending together, and know what a fortnight of data cannot tell you.

Choose a motion worth encoding

A RevPlay is one account-centric GTM motion. Before you open the builder, decide which motion earns the encoding, and write down what it is actually for.

Lay out the timeline

Step 2 of the builder. Each step has a position on the timeline, an objective, execution instructions, the KPIs it moves, and the actions to complete there.

Define eligibility

Step 3 of the builder. Conditions over your account properties decide which accounts enter the play, and accounts keep becoming eligible after it goes live.

Review, activate, and read the impact

Step 4 and everything after it. Read the motion back before committing, put it live, and measure it where measurement actually lives.
