Making the most of a RevTech trial

Fourteen days and a shared allowance to prove RevTech on your own accounts. When the clock starts, what counts, and how to spend it where it shows value.

Part 1 of 6

A real workspace with a boundary

A trial is your own workspace on your own HubSpot data, not a demo. RevTech runs the agents; your team decides what they work on and approves what they produce. Everything the trial creates stays yours, whether you upgrade or not.

What the trial adds is a boundary: fourteen days and a shared allowance, presented as $100 in free credits, with no card. The pricing page lists what the allowance covers and what a plan costs afterwards.

Part 2 of 6

When the clock starts

The fourteen days start when required setup is complete, not when the workspace is created. Setup is free, and until it finishes the trial says "Starts when setup is finished" with no countdown and no balances. Reconnecting HubSpot, resuming setup or inviting a colleague never restarts the clock or creates a second allowance.

Once it is running, the sidebar carries one status entry, "Trial · N days left", for everyone in the workspace. It opens Get started, which is the trial's home page for the whole fourteen days.

Part 3 of 6

What counts, and what is free

The allowance is shared across the workspace and split into kinds of work, so one kind cannot use up the others. Account plans count once per distinct account. Enrichment counts when fresh research runs, and reading research that already exists is free. A personalized message counts once per recipient per step.

Tours, configuration, reviewing, editing by hand, copying, exporting and talking to the Voice Agent are free. A paid action you start through the Voice Agent costs exactly what it costs anywhere else, through the same approval.

  • Account plans: 3, for three different accounts
  • Plan refresh: 1
  • Campaign package: 1 brief, its audience and up to three text assets
  • Enrichment: 25 operations, accounts and contacts combined
  • Personalized messages: 20, one recipient and one step each
Part 4 of 6

Every charged action asks first

Before anything charged runs, RevTech prices it and shows the exact cost, and nothing happens until a person says yes. If a colleague spent part of the balance while the dialog was open, the price is checked again on confirm rather than overdrawn. When a batch partly fails, only the work that succeeded is charged, and a retry goes through the same cost dialog.

When work cannot run, the reason is specific: setup still running, the trial ended, that kind of work used up, credits committed to work still finishing, or included trial work at its limit. Each one says what would let it run, because each has a different remedy.

Part 5 of 6

Spend it where it shows value

On Get started, an administrator runs first work against up to three accounts, a campaign and its contacts, sees the cost before anything runs and the results after. Pick accounts with live deals and a campaign you would really send: the point of the trial is to judge the output on records you know well. An account that already has a plan is marked Plan ready and is left out, because a second plan for it is a refresh with its own price.

Everyone else on Get started gets first actions for their own role and that role's tour. The usage summary shows settled, reserved and available credits and the five allowances, the same way everywhere, and the run list keeps every run with what it actually cost.

Part 6 of 6

Before the trial ends

RevTech warns at 80% and 90% of the credits, four days before the trial ends and again on the last day, through the app's usual notifications. When charged work stops, one notice says why. You can still review, edit, copy and export everything the trial produced.

A trial cannot buy credits; it upgrades first. Upgrading is one step from the notice or from Get started for anyone who manages billing, and it keeps your users, roles, HubSpot connection, configuration, artifacts and results. Unused trial credits do not carry into the paid balance. If an annual agreement suits you better, the same dialog sends a short note to the RevTech team instead of taking a card.

What to take away

  • The 14 days start when required setup is finished, once. Nothing you do afterwards restarts them.
  • One allowance for the whole workspace. Inviting people adds no credits.
  • Every charged action shows its exact cost and waits for your yes. Reviewing, editing and configuring are free.
  • Spend the allowance on your real accounts. A plan for a live deal proves more than three for test records.
  • Upgrading keeps everything the trial produced.
