Govern agents before you scale them

Permissions, approval thresholds, and audit are not brakes on agentic work. They are what makes widening it defensible.

Governance has a reputation as the thing that slows deployment down. In agentic GTM it is closer to the opposite: it is the mechanism that lets you widen autonomy without guessing.

Autonomy earned against evidence

If every agent action is recorded and every human edit is captured, then widening a threshold becomes a decision supported by data: how often did a person change what this agent proposed, and in which direction.

Without that record, widening autonomy is faith. Most organizations correctly refuse to take that step, and then conclude agents do not work.
